Will present a pre-recorded webinar entitled:

"TOWARDS A BETTER, STRONGER ECONOMIC PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN TAIWAN AND THE US"

Questions will be taken after the presentation by Elliot Wang, Director General of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Atlanta

About the Webinar

The nation state of Taiwan values its growing partnership with the United States. What the U.S. Department of State refers to as a "robust unofficial relationship" accounts for:

  • Taiwan being the U.S.'s 10th largest trading partner;
  • U.S. diplomatic support for Taiwan;

  • An increase in travel between Taiwan and the U.S., and

  • 148 sister cities between the two countries.

    Foreign Minister Wu is an unabashed proponent of expanding this bi-lateral relationship into a global partnership.

    BREAKING NEWS: Taiwan has lifted the ban on the import of US pork and beef.
